Texas Gov. Greg Abbott joins KVUE hours after Democrats leave state over election legislation | KVUE

The Texas House Democrats left the State of Texas in order to stop the GOP-backed election legislation. Hours after their flight left, Gov. Greg Abbott joined KVUE to sound off. The Texas legislatures' special session started on July 8 and focuses on bail reform, election reform, critical race theory, Article X and more. Gov. Abbott released the agenda for the special session one day prior.
