Tasting The BEST Christmas Market Food In Germany
In today's Episode we are travelling all the way to Germany to try out some of the TASTIEST Christmas market foods in the amazing city of Cologne. Follow along to see some of the delicious foods we taste, then stick around to see me cook these up, back in my studio in the UK. Enjoy! 🔥
Ingredients list below...

Currywurst:
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 200g tomato ketchup
- 1/2 white onion
- 4 tsp curry powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- Few dashes of Worcestershire sauce
- 115ml beef stock
- Pinch of baking soda
- 1 tsp honey
- 140ml water
Fries:
- 500g King Edward potatoes
- Cold water
- 1 tsp bicarbonate soda
Sausage:
- Bratwurst (German sausages)
- Oil

Spiced Sautéed Mushrooms (Champignonpfanne):
Mushrooms:
- 500g closed cup white mushrooms
- 1 onion, sliced
- Few knobs of unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Garlic Sauce:
- 1 large bulb of garlic
- 120ml of heavy cream
- 200g pot of sour cream
- 1 tbsp oregano dried
- Fresh parsley to garnish.

Mulled Wine (Gluhwein):
- 1 x 750ml bottle dry red wine
- 150ml water
- 100g caster sugar
- Caster sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 cloves
- 2 whole oranges, sliced
