Going Straight to Divorce Court

The plaintiff and defendant are married but estranged. The plaintiff claims her husband abused her, cheated on her, and was addicted to crack cocaine. She’s suing for car payments and emotional distress. The defendant argues they are both addicted to drugs. He says the final straw in their relationship was when he learned the plaintiff slept with his cousin and might be the father of her children. He petitioned the court for a DNA test, and he’s countersuing for harassment.
