Downwardly Mobile

The plaintiff says she rented a trailer in the defendant’s trailer park, but less than 24 hours after moving in, someone broke the window and fled when she saw them. She says the place wasn’t safe or peaceful, so she left and is now suing for her rent back. The defendant says she’s owned the park for 30 years and stands by its safety. As for the broken window, she says an investigation showed it was broken from the inside by a rocking chair.
