A One-Date Wonder

The plaintiff says he went out with the defendant on one date before inviting her back to his place to watch TV. He claims they got into an argument, after which the defendant assaulted him and caused damages to his apartment complex and car. He’s suing for the cost of repairs. The defendant says she did go on a date with the plaintiff but has never been to his home. She says he’s making it all up and is countersuing for defamation of character.
