Ashley Rose thought she would have a better life as a man. She was wrong. This is her detransition story
Ashley told me straight up — "I took advantage of the system because there was no pushback." No one stopped her. No one asked the hard questions. They just kept telling her life would be better if she transitioned to a man.
That being said, her story is one I hear more and more from young female detransitioners. She transitioned trying to escape being a gay woman, went down the medical path, and then had to face the reality of detransitioning and living with what testosterone did to her body.
I transitioned over 34 years ago, and in my opinion, this is what honesty looks like. No slogans, no activism — just a woman telling you what actually happened.
